<h1 class="article-title" itemprop="headline">Obnovná ťažba v Chotinke prebieha v súlade so zákonom</h1>

<div class="article" itemprop="articleBody">LESY Slovenskej republiky, štátny podnik, dlhodobo uplatňujú princípy trvalo udržateľného hospodárenia, ktorého cieľom nie je len produkcia dreva, ale predovšetkým obnova, stabilita a odolnosť prírodného prostredia. V Národnom parku Poloniny, v lokalite Chotinka, sa tieto princípy pretavujú do konkrétnych krokov pri citlivom a plánovanom obhospodarovaní lesa.<br />
<br />
V lokalite Chotinka prebieha obnovná úmyselná ťažba, ktorá bola pre rok 2025 vopred naplánovaná a riadne schválená príslušnými orgánmi v rozsahu 1 200 m³. Zásah je realizovaný predovšetkým v porastoch s prevahou buka a hrabu. Všetky zásahy v danej lokalite boli realizované v súlade s platnou legislatívou.<br />

Ťažba prebieha formou podrastového výberového hospodárskeho spôsobu – jedného z najšetrnejších prístupov k obhospodarovaniu lesa. Nevznikajú holiny, porast zostáva trvalo zakmenený a obnova drevín prebieha prirodzene, priamo pod ochranou dospelých stromov. Tento prírode blízky prístup zabezpečuje plynulý prechod medzi generáciami lesa bez narušenia jeho ekologickej rovnováhy.<br />

Na drobnom vodnom toku Chotinka (v správe LESY SR, identifikátor 4-30-03-1568) sa v súčasnosti nachádza päť hrádzí bobra vodného. Tieto prirodzené stavby sú významnou súčasťou mokradného ekosystému, no zároveň sú mimoriadne citlivé na poveternostné vplyvy. V dôsledku intenzívnych dažďov, ktoré zasiahli územie v máji, mohlo dôjsť k samovoľnému poškodeniu jednej z hrádzí. Takéto javy sú v týchto podmienkach bežné a nepredstavujú zásah zo strany lesného hospodárstva. LESY SR rešpektujú ekologické hodnoty územia a pri všetkých činnostiach postupujú s maximálnou citlivosťou, v súlade s platnou legislatívou a odbornými štandardmi. Našou činnosťou nedošlo k poškodeniu bobrieho biotopu, a ani k ohrozeniu samotného živočícha.<br />
